MIST wins global championship in Medical Robotics Competion parallel with Johns Hopkins University, USA and Leeds University, UK
A student team of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) wins £ 5000 GBP championship prize money in a profoundly prestigious global competition on 'Medical Robotics for Contagious Diseases Challenge 2020' (Application Category), sponsored by UK Robotics and Autonomous System (UK-RAS) Network. This multi-round qualifying and highly competitive event was organized by Imperial College of London. Team MIST developed a UVC disinfection robot named 'UVC Purge V.2'. The Online Award Ceremony was held on 04 Feb 2021. Other two winners are: Johns Hopkins University, USA in 'Innovation' Category and Leeds University, UK in 'Design' Category.
